MEANING Cyberbullying is the use of the internet and related
technologies to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner.
WHY IT OCCUR. Their purpose is to intentionally embarrass others, harass,
intimidate, or make threats online to another. This bullying occurs via email, text messaging, posts to
blogs and web sites.
Effect Lower self-estreem. Increased suicidal ideation.
• Eg. Suicide of Megan Meier and Ryan Halligan Variety of emotional responses such as
• Retaliating.• Being scared.• Frustrated.• Angry.• Depressed.
What age range get cyber bullied? The age range for cyber bullying can start at the
age of seven; tweens to teens, but some adults are also Cyber Bullied if someone is stalking them or simply does not like them.

How to solve. All the problems that occur can be ressolved,so we
must:1. Get involved with technology.2. Respect to others.3. Parents should communicate with their children.4. Use family safety software.5. Report cyber-bullying to your child’s school or ISP.6. Visit the new federal government website for
