Blessed is the one . . . whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
Psalm 1:1-3

INVITE EVENTS Each year, First Baptist Church hosts a number of invite events. These events are environments designed to make it easy to invite a neighbor or friend who is not connected to a church. On December 2, 2012, FBC hosted Nativity Town: a display of nativity sets from around the world and a fantastic sledding hill. The event was a fun-filled evening and many church members were able to use the event to invite a friend to church.

SMALL GROUP Small Groups are an important step in spiritual growth. Throughout the year, small groups meet together to encourage one another and consider how they might grow as disciples of Jesus. This past year, groups have studied Five Ways to Grow Your Faith, When God's People Pray, and Return of the Prodigal Son. Pam Bauman commented that during the prayer study, she felt the Holy Spirit as much as any other study. Jim Taylor also said that his group had a breakthrough this year and had some of the most real conversations they have ever had in group.
