in Bangladesh

Page 10: FBCCI Business Plan Presentation

Output from the ROUND TABLE

Sports Federations & Tourism authorities have to work together to make Sports Tourism in Bangladesh. “National Standing Committee on sports tourism” formation is required to make a bridge in between these Ministries.

Have to focus on our traditional rural sports like “Nouka Baich” ,”Lathi Khela.” So that Domestic people & foreigner can know about our traditional sports and community tourism can be developed.

Have to develop infrastructure for the tourist specially in sports zone even at the sports ground.

Regarding “Youth Activity”, sports are one of the prime priority. Through Sports , youth can move to explore. What we have to do is “Creating platform”.

Inter Ministry legion regarding sports, tourism, youth have to have. Even Bourocretic cooperation should be developed for greater achievement.

New activities/ games like beach Surfing, Beach Football, adventurous activities should be introduced soon to engaged local and international youth in tourism

Few basic research, study & survey are required in this industry to make a complete design for long term flourish. Specially , demand of youth, Global trend of tourism , potential tourist area for Bangladesh ,last few years trend of tourist arrival etc

Few steps for “Country Branding” like “Diplomat charity Games ” , “Innovative & updated Content” , “Promotion on Rural Tourist Spot”.

Besides Sports & tourist zone, we have to promote our local food, cloth, music & festivals broadly. In the tourist places these component are really important.
