Run for the Unicorns is the product of our team aending numerous conferencesover the years and pulling the best parts together to showcase how technologieslike blockchain will change everything from gaming and entertainment to

healthcare. Seeing as how Louisville, KY is home, and an amazing city in need ofmore technology workers and entrepreneurs, we decided to host our conference in

conjuncon with the biggest party in the US: the KY Derby Fesval.

Welcoming all skill levels, RUN19Hacks is a 54-hour eSports and fan engagementhackhackathon, fostering tech talent recruitment, immersive entrepreneurship, and decentralized startup deal-flow around the new generaon of fan apps & eSports fans games. RUN19Hacks challenges teams to use data, APIs, and content to

execute their vision on how to improve the mobile fan experience, develop/discover new games and business models.

A hackathon is a weekend long hacking marathon where ideas come to life! People(“hackers ”) come together in teams of 1-4 to create a cool tech-related project in a fun, welcoming environment. We provide you with free food, swag, and caffeine to make

the hacking experience as enjoyable as possible.

This event is free and open to the public. Wristband distribuon, which determines whatme you will pitch, starts at 9 a.m.Interviews begin at 10 a.m.

You will give a 1-minute pitch for your business, product, or idea to a member of thecasng casng team. It is suggested that entrepreneurs should make about 50% of their pitch

about themselves and 50% about their business. Remember that you are trying out to be onTV: Passion and energy are key!

To be eligible, you have to be at least 18 (or have a parent or guardian submit an applicaonon your behalf) and a legal resident of the U.S. You can’t have any connecons to theshow or its producers, the Sharks, their businesses, or the show’s sponsors. You alsocannot be running for public office, been convicted of a felony, or have criminal charges

pending againstpending against you.
