This is a complete step-by-step guide on how to use the FB Infiltrator WordPress plugin.
All topics on how to setup your campaigns, getting them into Facebook newsfeed, groups,
fanpages, tracking results and other best practices are explained.
NOTE
Read this user guide before using the plugin. Pagedmarketing will not be
responsible for malfunctions resulting from improper use.
Descriptions are based on the plugins default settings.
Images and screenshots may differ in appearance from the actual product.

1. INSTALLING & ACTIVATING FB INFILTRATOR
- Via WordPress dashboard
- Via FTP upload (this option is preferred)
Follow the basic instructions of installing and activating a WordPress plugin. You can

After installation, you will need to activate the plugin in your WordPress dashboard
before you can use it.
The plugin will appear on the sidebar after activation.

2. CREATING A NEW CAMPAIGN
2.1 Campaign name
To create a new campaign, simply click the Create New Campaign button
under the FB Infiltrator logo.
Enter your campaign name (it can be a word or a phrase) and click the Create
button.
2.2 Creating your campaign using prebuilt template
The template section is divided into two: Build a new one and Choose from
prebuilt template. The first option will use a blank customizable template.
In the second option, we have integrated 12 powerful, high-converting
templates from which you can choose.
Go over to the Choose from prebuilt template tab and select from the
provided templates, click the Continue button to go to the content interface.

2.2.1 Edit and add your contents.
STEP 1 creating a Facebook app id
In order to be complaint with Facebooks app development and publishing
terms, you will need to create a Facebook app before you can post your new
campaign on Facebook.
HOW TO CREATE FACEBOOK APP
1. Click here to open the Facebook developer page.
2. Go to the Apps tab and select Create a New App.

3. Give your new app a Display Name. Note that "Namespace" is optional. Choose a "category" and
Click Create App to continue.
4. After creating the app, copy the App ID.
5. Next, click on "Settings" on the left hand panel.
6. Set App Domains". This is the domain name where you have installed FB Infiltrator. For example-: If you
have installed it at http://www.fbinfiltrator.com/, your domain is "fbinfiltrator.com".
7. Click Add Platform and select Website.

8. Set the Site URL (The site where you have installed the plugin) in this format http://mysite.com/
(In our case, we will use http://fbinfiltrator.com/)
9. Save all changes.
10. Paste your app id here in the textbox beside Facebook App ID:
STEP 2 App background
You can use the provided textures, color palette or upload a new background
image (developer version only). If you have the developers version, you can
use the upload option to add a new template.

Tip: To use the template you selected in its originally designed form, we
recommend you do not make changes to the background and go to STEP 3.
STEP 3 Text content
The text content of the app is divided into two: Post title and Post subtitle.
The Post title is the headline of your campaign. We recommend a maximum
character size of 20 (including spaces); so, always summarize your campaigns
headline in a short phrase.
The Post subtitle should give a description of your campaign. We recommend
a max character size of 50 (including spaces).
STEP 4 Main content
Your app main content is a video. FB Infiltrator currently supports videos from
YouTube only.
Paste the YouTube video URL.
You can customize how the video player works using: Autoplay and, Display
Video controls.

Autoplay
This will auto play your video when your fans click on your campaign on Facebook. By default, we have disabled this
function.
Display Video Controls
This will display video controls on the video. By default, we have disabled this function.
Set Display Image This image will appear on the Facebook post before it is opened. To get a higher click rate for your post, use an image
that gets attention. See Sharing your app.

STEP 5 Campaign target
You can target your campaign to collect leads right inside Facebooks newsfeed.
Simply add your form code. FB Infiltrator currently supports major email
marketing platforms such as Aweber, Mailchimp, Get Response, Vertical
Response, Constant Contact, and iContact.
On the Button tab, you can customize the text and color of your lead capture
button.
You can also target you campaign to send your fans to a particular URL.
Select the URL option and add the target URL in this format
http://mysite.com/

Use the Button text, color options to customize the text and color of the
button.
LETS SEE WHAT WE HAVE BUILT
Click the Refresh button in top left corner. The app preview comes up.
Click the Continue button to go to the App share page.
2.3 Creating your campaign using a blank template.
Go over to Build a new one tab and select the blank template. Click the
Continue button to go to the content interface.

STEP 2 App background
Give your blank template a background. You can use textures/patterns, colors
or upload a new template (or image backgrounds). If you purchased the

developer version of FB Infiltrator, go to the members area to download the
free templates pack.

3. SHARING YOUR NEW APP Click the POST ON FACEBOOK button and a Facebook share pop up screen
should appear. Note: You might need to allow pop up in your browser.

Share your new app on Facebook.
After sharing, click the Finish button to save your app and exit to the
dashboard.
4. FB INFILTRATOR DASHBOARD
You can get a quick glance at the performance of each of your campaigns.
Views
This is the total number of fans who have click and viewed your campaign.
Actions
This is the total number of opt-ins or buttons clicks.

Conversions The percentage of people who acted on your campaign by either opting in or clicking a button.
You can also preview, edit, share, and delete any campaign.
Edit
This will go back to the edit page to make changes to your app content.
Preview
This will preview the chosen app
Share Use this button to re-share your app on Facebook.
Delete
This will delete the chosen app.

FAQ
1. I finished creating my campaign; the share button is not working.
This usually occurs when you used a wrong Facebook App id or you did
not configure the App domain/website URL.
Solution: Go back to Step 1 and make sure you have configured your
Facebook app settings correctly as described.
2. I have chosen a unique template; yet, I see the same preview each time I
refresh.
You have chosen a template and on Step 2, you have selected a different
background setup.
Solution: To use the template you selected in its originally designed
form, we recommend you do not make changes to the background, skip
STEP 2 and go to STEP 3. Otherwise, the template background will
change according to your new selection.
3. I did not see my newly created campaign when I went to dashboard.
This happens when you do not save your campaign by clicking the
Finish button on the Preview and Share page.

Solution: After sharing you campaign, make sure you click the Finish
button to save and exit to your dashboard.
