Fond du Lac public internet fun facts:
*Provides a wireless coverage area of about 10 square miles.
*Provides wireless internet access to over 80 residential homes. All major community gathering locations are covered by the wireless access points.
*The speed of the wireless internet provided is much faster than what is available to the public.
* At peak times there are over 400 devices connected.

Summer Mobile Learning Project
(Application Creation Workshop)
The camp is focused on smart phone and tablet application use and
development for up to 12 students, grades 7th and 8th.
During the first week of camp
students were introduced to the processes involved in creating
an app.

App Campers traveled to Lake Connections in Two Harbors, MN
to learn first hand how a fiber network brings digital
communications to homes and businesses. They also learned about the many careers in the
various fields of digital communications.
