*Provides a wireless coverage area of about 10 square miles.

*Provides wireless internet access to over 80 residential homes. All major community gathering locations are covered by the wireless access points.

*The speed of the wireless internet provided is much faster than what is available to the public.

* At peak times there are over 400 devices connected.

development for up to 12 students, grades 7th and 8th.

to learn first hand how a fiber network brings digital

communications to homes and businesses. They also learned about the many careers in the

various fields of digital communications.
