If we’re truly focused on being of service to the audience, giving them information and insights – we will be too busy to ask “Who am I to be giving a presentation?”
Get over it. You’re speaking which makes you worthy and now it’s your job to serve the audience. Period. “ “

Now, what will you do differently as a result of what you’ve experienced tonight?
How can you use visuals to complement what you want your audience to hear?
❑ Use your slides as a visual aid to illustrate your presentation, not to replace it.
❑ Limit your points to 3 to 5 per slide so that there is sufficient white space.
❑ Use bulleted points effectively. Limit your bullets to only the main points.
❑ Keep a uniformed slide style. Repeat the same font, background and bullets. Use bold, italics and colors only for emphasis. Keep titles and text consistent.
❑ Always include a conclusion slide to restate your main points.
