Warmest Greetings to You!

We extend a warm welcome as you join us for the 2016 Feast of

Tabernacles! Our goal at Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry is to be true

to the Word and to honor Yahweh in every way. We are glad that you

share these same desires. Finding those who are sincere in following

and obeying Yahweh in all things is like discovering a jewel in the

sand, but much more precious.

The Feast is a time to

focus on Yahweh and enjoy

the fellowship of brethren. To

get the most spiritually out of

the Feast, we will have at least

one worship service or study

per day. We will have

children’s and youth classes

throughout the Feast as well.

Plenty of time will be allowed for fellowship, study,

relaxation, and recreation. The young and young at heart should have

a great time with all that this camp offers in the way of recreation. In

Leviticus 23:40 Yahweh commands us to rejoice at His Feast, and we

plan to do just that!

During the Bible studies, courtesy is to be exercised, and each

should come with a humble attitude that we are all still learning about

Yahweh and His ways for us.

Baptism into Yahshua’s Name is an important step that True

Worshipers are to take, John 3:5. Being immersed at the Feast among

believers makes the occasion that much more memorable. We will set

aside time to counsel those seeking immersion. A baptismal service is

scheduled toward the end of the Feast. Those seeking immersion or

counseling must see Deacon Terry O’Neal to schedule counseling.

Guidelines for a Great Feast

We want everyone to have a memorable Feast. Therefore we have

established the following guidelines to ensure proper order and

everyone’s enjoyment and edification. Foremost, we are here to learn

of Yahweh’s will for us. Everyone should attend all scheduled

services. We set aside this time in honor of Yahweh and believe that

missing services is not showing proper respect to Him. We

understand that an occasional personal problem may preclude

attendance, but those times should be rare. Yahweh is always top

priority.

All speakers and moderators have been pre-selected. We do,

however, invite brethren to be involved in other ways in the services.

Please give the speakers your utmost attention and afford them the

courtesy of not interrupting during their messages. If you have a

question about the message, you may ask it of the speaker after

services. Also, try to remain seated during services. If you must get

up during the service, we ask that you do so quietly and in a non-

disruptive manner. Please instruct your children to do the same.

Dress Code

To ensure proper respect during

worship times, we request that men and

boys wear dress or collar shirts and

pants. Women and young ladies should

wear dresses, skirts that cover the knee

or dress pants. If you do not have this

attire for worship, please come in your

best. At all times, please avoid

immodest shorts, sleeveless, tight or low-cut clothing. This

includes modesty in the communal bathrooms.

Also, women and young ladies should cover their heads

during worship (1Cor. 11:6) and men are to leave their heads

uncovered (1Cor. 11:7). This includes both formal Bible studies and

services.

Be Respectful

This Feast is sponsored by YRM. If you have doctrinal differences,

we ask that you discuss them only with YRM ministers and not go

around privately to others, including in private Bible studies away

from the camp. This request is to maintain sound doctrine and

spiritual unity throughout the Feast.

We also ask that you respect the camp staff and realize that

they hold to different biblical convictions. Therefore, we must not try

to persuade them of our beliefs. Also, refrain from using profanity or

other offensive language, as this is not becoming of a saint of Yahweh

and reflects poorly to those outside.

High Days and Sabbath

We ask that all Feastgoers, adults and

children alike, respect the High days and

weekly Sabbath by remembering that

these are times of rest and for spiritual

fellowship, Exodus 20:8-11; Isaiah

58:13. Please abstain from cooking or

baking in the kitchens or roasting over

campfires on these days, Exodus 16:23. In addition, no organized

sports or hard play is permitted, including for children on High Days

and the Sabbath. The gym will also be closed during these times.

Parental Responsibilities

It is important that the young people have a great time at the Feast

and build wonderful memories of obeying Yahweh at His special

time. To ensure safety and order, parents should have their children

under control and know of their whereabouts at all times.

Children’s and Youth Classes

Children’s classes will be available to children ages 3-7 and youth

classes to ages 8-12. There will also be an open (unsupervised)

nursery in the back of the meeting hall for mothers with children

ages 0-2.

Camp Kitchens and Cleanup

Those using the communal kitchens throughout the camp must clean

up after themselves, including washing, drying and storing dishes

used. Nothing should be left in the sink. Those who leave the kitchen

messy may forfeit the use of the kitchen. Also, those using the main

kitchen in the dining hall, must attend the training by Executive

Chef, Angie Rice. For questions regarding the kitchen, please see

Dreama Simmons or Lendia Ball.

Personal Property

All personal groceries stored in common kitchens should be in a bag

or box with YOUR NAME on it. Please respect the property of others

by not removing what is not yours from the kitchen (e.g. camping

chairs, grills, coolers, food, etc.). This also includes YRM supplies for

group meals.

Meals

While meals will be the responsibility of

individual Feastgoers, we will offer several

meals throughout the Feast, including daily

continental breakfast, a fellowship meal on

the first High Day, a communal meal on the

last High Day, wiener roast, and Men’s

BBQ. Please bring a covered dish to the

communal meals for all to share. There will

also be four lunches and two dinners of scripturally clean food

provided by the camp. The cost for the meal package (all six meals) is

$36 for ages 9 and older and $18 for ages 3-8. Children 2 and under

eat free. All camp meals include salad, main entrée, drink, and

dessert. For camp menu, see Feast schedule on pages 7-8.

Campfires

YRM will have a communal campfire throughout the Feast. Cutting

firewood from the surrounding forest is prohibited by the camp. Also,

wood provided to the ministry by the camp should be used only for

Page 6: Feast of Tabernacles - Yahweh's Restoration Ministryyrm.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Feast-of-Tabernacles-2016-Bro… · Feast of Tabernacles 2016 . 1 W armest Greetings to You!

5

designated communal campfires. For their safety children are not

permitted to place wood in the fire.

Alcohol

While Scripture permits alcohol at the Feasts (Deut. 14:26), the

camp management forbids it. Please do not bring alcohol into the

camp. If this is done, it will jeopardize our future use of the camp.

Quiet Hours

We request that all Feastgoers respect quiet hours from 11:00 p.m. to

7:00 a.m. This includes keeping the volume down around the

campfire after hours.

Electronic Equipment and Musical Instruments

Remind your children that all electronic and musical equipment and

instruments in the meeting hall, including shofars, are expensive and

fragile and are off limits to everyone but the technicians and

musicians.

Special Music/Offerings

If you desire to offer praise, we

encourage you to honor Yahweh with

your gift during the times for special

offerings. Please follow the guidelines

below:

Use the sacred Names Yahweh

and Yahshua and refrain from using the common titles.

Offerings are for songs and poems only.

Limit your offering to no more than six minutes and be

considerate of others, as only four offerings are allotted per

service.

To schedule your offering, see the moderator of the service or head

moderator, Deacon Steve Reed.

Pets

All pets must have received prior approval and must be leashed or

restrained when outside.

Post-Feast Cleanup Reminder

Those staying at the camp should

make sure that all belongings are and

trash is disposed of before departure,

including private lodgings and

communal kitchens. YRM is

responsible for leaving the camp

tidy and we will need many

volunteers for the cleanup after the Feast. Please stay and help.

Personal items left behind in rooms and the kitchen cause additional

work for the Ministry.

“Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have

gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast unto

Yahweh seven days: on the first day shall be a Sabbath, and on

the eighth day shall be a Sabbath. And you shall take you on

the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm

trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook;

and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your Elohim seven days.

And you shall keep it a feast unto Yahweh seven days in the

year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: you

shall celebrate it in the seventh month.”

Leviticus 23:39-41
