Thank you to those who worked so hard to coordinate, purchase, decorate, cook, serve, clean, and put away everything we needed and used for our par- ties and celebrations. And our joy and celebration of Jesusbirth has been shared with the wider community as well: Thank you to everyone who joined in Christmas caroling at the nursing homes. Thank you to the Friends of St Francis and all who donated gifts and money towards our Angel Tree. Together we provided gifts to 11 families - enough for every child to receive not one but two gifts! From our Pastor

Very heartfelt thanks are due to so many who made possible our special litur-

gies, festive gatherings, and other events of the past week.

Thank you to those who lovingly cleaned our church and those who decorat-

ed it to enhance the joy of the season.

Thank you to our liturgical ministers and musicians for your prayerful contri-

bution to our Masses and our Lessons and Carols.

Thank you to parents, teachers, and all who helped our children portray the

Christmas story so warmly and sweetly in their Nativity play.

Thank you to those who worked so hard to coordinate, purchase, decorate,

cook, serve, clean, and put away everything we needed and used for our par-

ties and celebrations.

And our joy and celebration of Jesus’ birth has been shared with the wider

community as well:

Thank you to everyone who joined in Christmas caroling at the nursing homes.

Thank you to the Friends of St Francis and all who donated gifts and money

towards our Angel Tree. Together we provided gifts to 11 families - enough

for every child to receive not one but two gifts!

Holy Family is a generous and loving family, and we have been truly blessed.

For that we are grateful.

May your 2016 be Spirit-filled. Fr. Peter, OSB

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa)

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved,

heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,

bearing with one another and forgiving one another;

as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do.

And over all these put on love.

~ Paul’s Letter to the Colossians 3:12-14 (today’s Second Reading)
