Don’t be that guy who taps their pencil during tests.

Everyone has been told not to be “that” guy. Little things we may not think are annoying or do not even notice we are doing may really make others tick. For example: chomping gum, obnoxious hugging, or slow walking, tend to get annoying. Avoid the following, to not be considered “that” guy.

The culprit.Ryan Flaherty ‘14Your Spanish teacher just handed out a test and the room goes silent. A few moments later you hear “tap, tap, tap”. It begins to get louder and louder, until it becomes unbearable. Instead of filling in the tiny bubbles on your bubble sheet, you start filling in only A’s because your mind cannot focus anymore. You fail the test due to “that” guy tapping his pencil.

Don’t be that guy who is a slow walker in the hallway.

Every man has had this awkward experience. You go in for the pound, but instead he goes for the embrace that lasts a lifetime. This is weird. Are men supposed to hug like this? In some cases yes, but in this one, no. For all men who do this, please stop to prevent awkward moments like this from happening in the future.

You’ve heard it before. You’re sitting in class, and all of the sudden you feel like you are at the zoo listening to a camel chomp on some grass. Who do they think they are? They are not an animal. For all those out there who are guilty of chomping on gum, please do us all a favor and knock it off.

There is nothing worse than being stuck behind a slow walker when you are in a hurry. Whether you are on your way to class or lunch, you need to hurry your heiney up!

There is nothing worse than hearing those fatal words, “Do you want us to turn in our homework that was due?” If you know someone who is guilty of this, cover their mouth before it can be said!
