Campus: Even more than witnessing the mens basketballteam make the NCAA tournament this year, Ive been ex-tremely encouraged lately by several girls that are hungryto see God do big things in and through them. Mikayla(top right) is a freshman that recently placed her faith in

Christ and has amazing passion for her team to experienceGod too. Kelly (right) is a senior who will graduate and bestudent teaching in the fall. I love meeting with her anddiscussing great questions about how God can intersect herfuture career. A track athlete, Kalie (left) recently had anamazing opportunity to tell herwhole team about God atthe conference championship meet. The coach asked her tomotivate the team with her story from a couple weeks ear-lier. She ran her slowest college time in the hurdle prelimsand 2 hours later came back to run a season best in the fi-nals. Kalie shared how she was able to rely on God'sstrength and His ability, not her own. She told them thatthrough prayer she refocused on running for God's glory

and regained her confidence in Him alone.

Connect: CSU-AIA will have our spring dinner fundraiserin just a few weeks and you may get an invitation in themail soon! Another great way to be connected is to followour blog that gets updated regularly for our students to stayconnected during the week. www.csuaia.blogspot.com

KATERS JOURNEY : THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL, BUT THE

WORKERS ARE FEW. ASK THE LORD OF THE HARVEST, THEREFORE, TO

SEND OUT WORKERS INTO HIS HARVEST FIELD.-LUKE 10:2

Summer Assignment:Im going with a track and field project to Zimbabwe!

While in Xenia, all the staff assigned to lead track and field mission-projects this summer got together to hearmore about what we will be doing! I will go with a team of a dozen collegiate athletes to Zimbabwe to help

equip local athletes and coaches from the national, collegiate, club and high school levels (some picturesfrom last year, below). We will help the AIA ministry in Zimbabwe expand to reach more athletes. I am also

praying that at least 1 track athlete from CSU will come with me on a T&F summer project!

As you might imagine, there are some costs involved with traveling to Africa. My church family in Fort Collinshas a saying, many hands make light work. This trip will cost me $4000, but wouldyou consider being one of the many hands that gives $100 to-wards this trip? In fact, if each of you as my ministry partnerscontributed just $50, the trip would be covered. You can go tomy giving site at www.give.ccci.org/give/0640250 for online

giving, or write a check payable to Campus Crusade for Christ(write #0640250 in the memo line) and mail it to Campus Cru-sade for Christ , Attn: Contributions, PO Box 628222, Orlando,

FL 32862-8222. Thank you for your prayers and support!!

Snowshoeing Feb 2012in RMNP on a verywindy day with theCSU Cru staff. Someof them pictured here!

Winter retreat: 100 athletes from schools across Coloradoand Wyoming got together for the annual AIA-FCA winterretreat in Estes Park, CO in March (everyone pictured left,CSU group pictured right). The theme was The mission-driven athlete. We unpacked this theme, had the Ultimate

Training Camp band lead us in worship, and had SO muchfun in our free time. It was great to see 9 current CSU trackand field athletes there! (right, with track alum)

AIA staff March Meetings: All of the AIA staff fromaround the country gathered at our headquarters in Xenia,OH (pictured right and left) for a fun and refreshing staffconference. Some of my favorite parts were: reconnectingwith friends that Ive made through my involvement withAIA as a student and now intern; hearing from our presi-dent and others about the direction of the ministry to useunusual cooperation to grow in areas such as diversity, staff growth, and global expansion; and playing loads of

volleyball among other activities with the amazing staff wehave in the AIA family.
