We believe that when Jesus said, “GO and make disciples...” that He meant what He said. That’s why in 2012 we are setting out to

Empower and Equip Believers to be Disciples by discipling others through Connect Groups.

Through prayer and planning we have improved on the format and struc-ture of Connect Groups to make them EASY to Facilitate and EASY to

attend.

One of the best ways for someone to grow in following Jesus Christ is consis-tant, regular contact with other believers in Connect Groups.

There are more and more people coming into Mackay that need the love of Jesus and His power to give them their best life. The best way to get more of a heart for the lost, I have found, is to remind myself that there is someone

like me waiting to hear the Good News.

In 2012 we pray that every member of C3 Church Mackay grows in faith in Jesus Christ and the power in that name to seek and save the lost.

Welcome to 2012. I have included a request by our C3 movement leaderinviting all our churches to join in 21days of prayer and fasting. Hey Guys,I'm calling our church to a 21day fast starting Feb 20th.I'd liI'd like to invite the movement to unite in fasting at the same time.Many of our guys fast at times through the year, but if we could do itin unison It'd be a powerful event.We have seen many great things come out of fasting seasons in times past.I think we will see many more.The fasting could take on a variety of forms over the time. Our own

people do Daniel fasts, or no sweets, or limit it to just eatingevening meals, or fast for a few days each of the weeks evening meals, or fast for a few days each of the weeks etc.I'm thinking about it now because people will be orga-nizing their calendars. Feb is still the start of the year with people having returned from holidays and settling into the year ahead. It'd be great if we can all

encourage our regions to participate in some way.I'll be announcing it for here the weekend of New Years eve and day.Look forwaLook forward to hearing from you.

I believe Connect Groups are one of the best ways to grow in your Christian walk because they are a place where you can disciple and be discipled.

As we move into 2012 we encourage everyone who attends C3 Chuattends C3 Church to join in the vision of Connect Groups.

WHY? Because at C3 Church we LOVE PEOPLE and we believe there is only ONE
