Take a load off and enjoy your meal while watching CBC’s Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada coverage on our bank of big screen TVs. Getting to the Oval Richmond Olympic Oval 6111 River Road, Richmond There will be no public parking at the Oval on event day. So travel by greener modes of transportation such as the Canada Line and a short walk to avoid creating huge traffic and parking backups around the Oval. TransLink / Canada Line The C94 community shuttle bus runs from the Richmond-Brighouse Canada Line Station to the Richmond Olympic Oval, every 11 minutes. Take the Canada Line to Aberdeen or Lansdowne stations and walk 10 to 15 minutes to the Oval. Cycling Bicycle parking will be available on the south east and south west sides of the Oval. Lane Closure There will be no access for eastbound traffic on River Road from Lynas Lane or No. 2 Road northbound. Parking There will be no public parking available at the Oval, with the exception of limited accessible parking (with permit). Its availability is not guaranteed as other guests may be utilizing it. Limited free parking will be available at a WorkSafe BC building parking lot located a few blocks from the Oval at 6951 Westminster Highway. The parking lot is accessible westbound on Westminster Highway between Elmbridge Way and Gilbert Road. This lot is free.

Listen in as Bob “The Moj” Marjanovich from TEAM 1040 hosts his popular Sports Saturday program live onsite from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Duh Hockey Guys, comedic performers on stilts who dress as hockey players and interact with crowd, will have you in stitches. Meet one of the Green Men, those goofy guys in bodytards that have become a fan favourite at Canucks games and check out their new book about their adventures.
