THE BRUIN BULLETIN St. Teresa of Avila
Gratitude Corner We extend our sincerest thanks to the Education
Commission members who served as tour guides for this
year’s Open House. It speaks volumes when current
parents welcome prospective families to our school and
share their experiences and opinions with them.
Thanks to Mrs. Drinkuth and her daughter who baked 500
cookies for the Open House! Thanks for sharing your
“sweet” gift of time.
We would like to thank Mrs Miller who planned our
festivities for Catholic School’s Week. We appreciate all
of her organizing and preparing of the week’s activities. It
is good that we can celebrate and show our gratitude for
our faith and our school.
Thanks to the 8th grade who helped with the Canned Good
Collection on Tuesday and to the families who
contributed.
Thanks to the 8 students who represented our school at the
Catholic Schools Week Mass at the Cathedral. We also
appreciate the parents who drove to the Cathedral.
Thanks to the Student Council who helped during Open
House and sold the paper links for the school in Ghana.
Thanks to the students and families who supported it.
Thanks to the moms who worked the Hot Dog Lunch for
students.
Thanks to our great teachers and staff who made time in
their schedules for all of our special activities through the
week, attended the Cathedral Mass, played on the
volleyball team and were part of the Surprise Patrol.
We appreciate the PTG who provided the teachers with a
lunch on Thursday and will top off the week with a treat
for students on Friday at lunch.
Of course, our Catholic Schools Week gratitude list
would not be complete without thanking our principal,
Mrs. Willmes. Her commitment to our school’s academic
goals, spiritual development and sense of fun are what
makes our school the greatest!
As always, we are like one big family all coming together
to make a success of whatever we do. We are proud to be a
Catholic elementary school! May God continue to bless
St. Teresa of Avila School!
