February President’s Message February is a packed month for our chapter. MATHCOUNTS is TOMORROW February 20th! It will be held at Florida Southwestern College (old Edison) in Fort Myers. We could still use some volunteers. Contact Sally Goldman [email protected] for more information or visit the website. Next week is Engineer’s Week! If you are not aware, Engineer’s Week was established to call attention to the “quiet” contributions engineers make to society on a daily basis. Engineers get recognition most of the time for things going wrong. Take a moment to think back on all of your successful work and how you have gotten to where you are today. If you have time, come join us as we will be accepting a proclamation from Collier County at the BOCC meeting next Tuesday, the 23rd at 9 am. Our February meeting will also be next Tuesday at FGCU. It will be a meet and greet for the members of our professional chapter to connect with the members of our student chapter. Please make an effort to attend. You may meet your next employee or co-worker. The details can be found in this newsletter. Sincerely,
Brent Addison President
