In gratitude to all who generously gave of their time to participate in Ski
For Light, Stein Fjell Lodge extends a hearty tusen talk! From the stand-

in their respective groups. This location enhanced the handling of the
dogs. Additionally, it was a short walk for skiers using the airport courtesy
waiting room. The following is a list of those who participated in 2017 Ski

Karen Everett had foot surgery on February
21st. She's on crutches for a few weeks, then goes
back and has the bandages removed to see how eve-
rything is progressing. She's been busy digitizing fami-
ly albums and we're sure doing lots of Hardanger. She
hopes to be back in circulation by late Spring. She
would appreciate any greetings-funny or otherwise!!

If In Doubt, Ask If You Eligible For Life Insurance
An interesting statement came from the underwriters last week: Marijuana users should not
automatically be placed in a tobacco rate class. In fact, recreational and medical marijuana
users can have a standard rate like the rest of us. This conclusion comes after years of study
but for occasional users in Colorado it is good news.
I am not suggesting life insurance coverage is automatic for marijuana users. There is a chemi-
cal use questionnaire. We check your motor vehicle record and we confirm there are no rata-
ble medical conditions. But if marijuana use is the only issue, an affordable premium is likely.
Members with type II diabetes should not think they are automatically deemed uninsurable. It can happen but we
look at the age at diagnosis, the duration of the disease, the type of treatment and the blood sugar control. If you
have type II diabetes and want life insurance, please contact me and we will work with the underwriter to see what
your options might be. Mike Johaneson, 720.971.0130, [email protected]
