February 2019 Quota International of Rotorua Club Newsletter Quota International celebrates 100 years of serving our communities 1919-2019 The new year has started well with Quota International clubs world wide celebrating the centennial of our organi- zation. Here in New Zealand we have had a regional lunch at Mills Reef Tauranga and in Rotorua a celebratory dinner at Princes Gate Hotel. The latter was attended by 49 guests including the local Mayor Steve Chadwick who was guest speaker, Region 21 Director Lois Watson from Opo- tiki, visitors from other women’s organizations plus past and present Rotorua Quotarians. Entertainment was by singer Ellis Carrington. The evening was a great success and all enjoyed the buffet dinner provided by the hotel. Co-Presidents Annette Cleghorn & Sally Davis cut the centennial cake.     Quota International celebrates 100 years of serving our communities

    1919-2019

    The new year has started well with Quota International clubs world wide celebrating the centennial of our organi-zation. Here in New Zealand we have had a regional lunch at Mills Reef Tauranga and in Rotorua a celebratory dinner at Princes Gate Hotel. The latter was attended by 49 guests including the local Mayor Steve Chadwick who was guest speaker, Region 21 Director Lois Watson from Opo-tiki, visitors from other women’s organizations plus past and present Rotorua Quotarians.     Back in January the club held their annual BBQ at the beautiful home of club member Angela Quaife. It was too hot to be outside so as these two pictures show we all lounged around inside.
