Salute to Women at Coastland Mallon Saturday, January 23 broughtlarger crowds than ever before.Overall planning for the day wasexpertly handled by Helen Frankeand the excellent entertainmentprogram by Virgie Grant. Decoration and manning of the booth wasbeautifully managed by MarilynContrada and Gail Borman and coordinated with an opportunity forvoter registration provided byMary Morgan's office. Everythingwas so well organized that theappearance of Phyllis Shlafly atthe Mall in late afternoon withlittle advance notice was generally ignored.
Congratulations and thanks to allwho contributed to the success ofthese events. Several programson the problems of water managementin our rapidly growing County willbe held during the next two months.Details are elsewhere in this VoterWe hope you will come to our meet-ings and learn with us.
