WHAT IS THE NQF?
It is essentially a framework of national qualifications
registered after meeting the Quality Assurance processes of
SAQA.
It is a database which records the unit standards, skills
programmes and qualifications which are recognised in SA

The programme evaluators are in the officeevery 2nd week of the month. They look at thefollowing during programme approval:1. Programme strategy2. Unit Standard Analysis 3. Assessment Matrix4. Learner Support5. Training Material6. RPL (Optional)
• All submissions (not just new submissions) to include the Self Evaluation checklist duly completed
• Providers to submit one programme at a time
• New programmes to be submitted only once previous programme has full approval

Provision of aligned programmes for implementation
