News From the Leadership Board
The Leadership Board met on Monday, May 8, at 7 PM in the Fellowship Building. Committee reports were given and the following were approved:
• Providing handicap parking at the church’s door. Work has already begun on this project and will be completed by June 9th (weather permitting), which is striping of the spaces and handicap signs installed.
• The LB approved the request from the youth
to update the nursery for their mission project this year.
The next Leadership Board meeting will be Monday, June 12, at 7 PM in the Fellowship Building. =============================================

Women’s Fellowship News FESTIVAL OF TABLES - Please remember to consider hosting a table for our Festival of Tables on Saturday, September 16. A sign-up sheet is on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board. We currently have 6 tables with hostesses but we need 4 more. Also our first craft workshop will be Monday, June 5, in the basement of the Fellowship Building at 6 PM. Supplies will be provided. All congregation members are invited to help. A light supper will be provided. A sign up sheet is on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board so we know how much food to prepare. Hope to see you there! Women’s Fellowship Circle #1 will meet on Monday, June 19 at 7 PM in the Fellowship Building.

Enjoy our open-air deck as the captain tells you the history of Lake Norman and gives you a narrative on some of the celebrity homes. Cost of the tour and box lunch is $18.00. CE Committee Report: The next CE meeting will be Sunday, June 4 following the service. Youth Lunch: The Youth will have a Hot Dog & Hamburger Lunch with all the fixings after worship on Sunday, June 11, in the Fellowship Building.
Winston-Salem Dash Ballgame - The CE Committee is sponsoring an outing to a Winston-Salem Dash baseball game at 2 PM on Sunday, June 11th. We will use the van to run shuttle service from the church to the ballpark for anyone who does not want to drive. Tickets are $11. There is a sign-up sheet on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board at the church. As an added bonus, the Grateful Choir will be performing the National Anthem before the ballgame. If you are paying by check, make the check out to Christ Moravian Church and on the memo line write June 11 Ballgame.
Needed: The CE Committee is looking for children/youth Sunday School teachers, Children’s Church volunteers and Youth leaders. If you feel led to volunteer for any of these, please let Sabrina Maksi know. ================================================
