company KLASJE CELJE, d.d., since 1982. We offer our

customers a wide selection of healthy food products that is

regularly supplemented with new flavours. We create aworld of gastronomy in which you don’t have to give up

the good stuff.

Fenix products are made of quality ingredients that aremixed according to our own recipes, allowing us to create

wholesome dishes that contain a minimum amount of

unnecessary additives (emulsifiers, thickeners and

The basic materials for our dishes are millet, quinoa,rice and maize flour. Since our ingredients do not

contain wheat proteins – gluten – they are easily

digestible. These are a rare type of grain with a

favourable effect on the acid/alkaline balance in anorganism (eliminating problems related to Candida).

In addition, they are an excellent source of calcium,

phosphorous, magnesium, iron, vitamin E and some

group B vitamins.

QUINOA FLOUR – “The Super

Foodstuff of the Future”• QUINOA (Chenopodium quinoa) is an

ancient plant that was grown by the Inca inSouth America 5000 years ago. The plantgrows under very unfavourable conditions,which is why it is fit for organic production.

• Quinoa grains are very tiny. The mostwidespread variety is pale whitish in colourand contains a lot of proteins, with an almostideal ratio of essential amino acids that arerequired for the restoration anddevelopment of cells. It is especially rich inlysine.

• Quinoa grains do not contain gluten, whichis especially welcome in a gluten-free diet asa nutritious and tasty alternative.

• For these reasons, some people call quinoa“the super foodstuff of the future”.

MILLET FLOUR• MILLET (Panicum miliaceum) is one of the

oldest cultivated plants. It was sown asearly as in the Neolithic. Early Slavs sawmillet as a symbol of fertility.

• Podded millet grains are tiny and yellowand also called millet porridge. They areslightly sweet. Millet has been longknown to be a medicinal herb. Itstimulates the secretion of water from thebody and regulates intestinal flora.

• Millet is a rich source of high-valueunsaturated fatty acids. It contains thelargest amount of vitamin E and somegroup B vitamins. It contains a lot ofphosphorous, magnesium, iron andsilicon.

• Millet is one of rare plants that containsilicic acid in soluble form, which has abeneficial effect on healthy skin, glossyhair and solid tooth enamel and nails.

RICE FLOUR & SOYA FLOURRice flour is gluten free and also otherwise

less allergenic. Rice flour has a favourable

effect on intestines, as it stimulates thedevelopment of beneficial intestinal

bacteria. It contains a lot of fibres and a

small amount of saturated fats. It is rich

with minerals (magnesium, calcium) andgroup B vitamins.

Soya flour is made of ground soya beans. Of

all leguminous plants, soya contains the

largest amount of proteins that digest well inthe body. Bread, pastry and cookies made

of soya flour are rich in proteins that have a

favourable effect on reducing the release

of insulin. Soya flour products are thussuitable for diabetics.
