Installation Instructions

Ferrite Torroid Assembly

1. Open Ferrite Bead.

2. Loop the ethernet patchcord around itself once, ensuring the loop is large enough to fit the length of the Ferrite bead.

IMPORTANT The loop must be close to the end of the Ethernet patchcord that plugs into the Ethernet Switch.

3. Place the looped section of the ethernet patchcord over one side of the Ferrite Bead.

The looped cord must be against the inside surface of the Ferrite Bead.

4. Lengthen the crossed section so each side of the loop spans the complete length of the Ferrite Bead.

5. Close the Ferrite bead securely and plug the patchcord into the ethernet switch.
