Unwrap our bespoke collection of signature dining experiences, designed to mark the spirit of the season in style. From long Christmas Day buffet-style lunches in Macarthur’s Ballroom, to intimate wood-fire cuisine shared between two in The Fireplace. Not to mention InterContinental’s annual New Year’s Eve Beach Party – your chance to ring in 2019 on the pristine shores of our one-acre Lagoon sparkling in hand, of course.

The culinary team led by Executive Chef Matt Hart, cannot wait to infuse all the trimmings into your sparkling festivities and look forward to celebrating the holiday with you.

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMASMonday 24 December

Mark the night before Christmas with luxury-style buffet dining in Cove Café. Indulge in a selection of seafood including oysters, prawns and seasonal crabs, followed by hot dishes including roast beef with cherries, lemon and herb infused barbeque chicken and traditional maple-glazed roast Christmas turkey.

While immersing in tastes of the season, enjoy atmospheric music from Christmas carollers performing throughout The Great House and don’t forget to treat yourself to the festive-themed dessert collection flush with Christmas pudding, fruit mince tarts and ginger cookies.

NEW YEAR’S EVE SPARKLE IN COVE CAFÉMonday 31 December

Kick off the New Year with Cove Café’s incredible dinner buffet counting down with the Gold Coast’s most indulgent culinary trends. Taco bars to oyster shucking, liquid nitrogen icecream installations to an offering of street churros galore.

Our family-friendly New Year’s buffet also has plenty to feast on with antipasto, pizzas, fish and chips, paella and noodles, guaranteeing that there is a taste to suit all ages. It’s safe to say that the party starts way before midnight with InterContinental’s buffet of choice.

Your VIP package is inclusive of wine, beer and gourmet market-style food including a peking duck pancake station, oyster shucking, paella and plenty of sweet desserts to keep you going throughout the night of nights.
