It is indeed with great pleasure I write this

remark as a forward to FFLI Annual Report

2016. We give God the Glory for seeing us this

far.

The end of a year is a good time to look back

reflecting on achievements and challenges,

and to look forward to see what we still need to

accomplish.

As we move forward into 2017 and beyond, I

am proud of what we have accomplished in

2016 and excited about the future. Although

the obstacles are many, we can look ahead

into the new biennium with confidence, hope

and resilience. We know that there are vast

problems ahead, but we also know that we

have the right human resources to meet those

challenges. It is my believe that together we

can and we will continue our efforts to

eliminate human exploitation, extreme poverty,

uphold human rights and dignity, promote

access to education and healthcare, safeguard

sustainable development of our community,

ensure human dignity for the poor, vulnerable

children and young people particularly the

Almajiris and to promote gender equality and

empowerment.

May I therefore use this opportunity to congratulate and appreciate the selfless efforts and sacrifices of my fellow Board Members, management, staff and volunteers of FFLI. May I also specifically recognize and appreciate the tireless efforts of my able Secretary and founder in person of Sani Dantuni Bello who has been the brain and pillar behind our successes. It is equally important to recognize and appreciate the enormous support and contributions of all our partners and stakeholders. I will not conclude without encouraging all of us to continue to work conscientiously and tirelessly to raise the voice and profile of FFLI even as we doubled our efforts to achieving our objectives for there is no greater service than service to humanity. Thank you for all your hard work and selfless commitment. I wish you the very best for the New Year and years ahead. May Allah continue to increase us in strength and wisdom to continue to serve humanity.

Yours Faithfully,

Barr. Mustapha Muhammad Dogondaji. Chairman, Board of Trustee, FFLI.
