FICTION

Fiction books are stories that are not true. They are fantasy. This is the biggest section of the

library. These books are on the two shelves in the back part of the library.

ARRANGEMENT OF FICTION BOOKS

Fiction books are arranged alphabetically according to the author’s last name.

Page 5: Fiction

Each book in the library has a call number. These are located on the spine of the book. The top three letters on a fiction book are “FIC”. The

bottom three letters on a fiction book are the first three letters of the author’s last name.

FAVORITE AUTHORS

All books by each author are kept

together, so if you have a favorite author all you have to do is

find his/her section to locate books.

The books are arranged in alphabetical order. The “A” section begins by the bulletin board in the back of the library. The books go in order

left to right. Most of the shelves have labels to make it easier to locate the sections.
