Our Challenge
• 4,500 faxes received daily (15,500 pages), 75% of this traffic is between 11 AM – 4 PM EST
• Need to be processed within 1 business hour so that mortgages can be funded/processed on time.
• If we spend ~1 minute per fax that is = 10 FTE

• We looked into 2 solution providers and selected ABBYY• We found ABBYY to be strong in
– Ability to work with Expanding sections on templates – Reliability of toolset provided– XML Export capabilities
• Verification Client module enabled Operations to fix basics issues with no dependency on IT Support Desk.

Our Solution
• Build full Electronic Fax Management solution that integrates into our Transaction Management System
• Needs to be a “head-less” process as we cannot afford the FTE costs
• Most solutions available on the market meet our needs partially
• ABBYY Flexi capture used for template designing

• ABBYY Flexi capture was used to develop templates that exported data into XML
• This data was sent to another service on our ESB for integration into our internal systems
• Complete automation end to end with only 1 FTE allocated for reviewing kick outs in Verification Studio
