Lesson Plan 28c: Run IET using the Copy To Function to Copy Crop Management from Land Unit 5 to Land Unit 6 (CStwP Plan)

Rationale: The Integrated Erosion Tool can be used for conservation planning instead of running RUSLE2 and WEPS outside of Toolkit. The Copy To function can be used to copy a management template from one land unit to another to build a rotation for the IET.

Objectives: At the end of this lesson, you will be able to Copy the Crops / Operations and/or Slope / Practice and/or Regions / Barriers panel to a

new land unit View and save the IET results

The IET lesson plans follow a specific IET analysis scenario for Hill County, TX. You may select many of the same parameters for your area although your soils and other regional values will differ. Your instructor may choose to provide a handout with specific parameters to select to customize the analysis for your area.

Select Land Unit

1. On the Tools toolbar, click the Select Features button. in the map view select Tract 4000, Land Unit 6. Note: When using IET, you may select one to many land units to be included in the IET work session. Selecting two or more land units enables the Copy To function in IET
