The Heber Public Utility District celebrated our Fall Fiesta with a community parade, 5K run and a grand Day of the Dead Celebration. The events were a great success and several hundred Heber residents, their family and friends, joined us in our celebration.

Once again we partnered with Proyecto Heber, a non-profit organizations that focuses their efforts on helping those less fortunate in our community as well as supporting programs to promote health and community growth. Thank you to our generous sponsors.

Heber Public Utility District celebro nuestra Fiesta de otoño con un desfile de la comunidad, carrera de 5K y una gran celebración del día de los muer-tos. Los eventos fueron un gran éxito, cientos de residentes, familiares y amigos, nos acompaña-ron en nuestra celebración.

Una vez más nos asociamos con Proyecto Heber, una organizacion sin fines de lucro que centra sus esfuerzos en ayudar a los menos afortunados de nuestra comunidad así como programas de apo-yo para promover la salud y crecimiento. Gracias a nuestros generosos patrocinadores.

Heber Public Utility District has sponsored many community events this past year such as our Fall Fiesta! We have held several FREE movie nights at Tito Park, and participated in many commu-nity events such as the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Proyecto Heber’s Car Show and the Winter Heberland Walk. We also support youth sports programs. This past year, we supported the First Annual Heber Tamale Festival. Addition-ally, HPUD gives back to our community every month by assisting with the Food Bank’s com-modity distribution efforts. We are proud to serve the great community of Heber.

Hemos cele-brado varias noches de películas gratis en el par-que Tito Huerta y participó en muchos eventos comunitarios tales como la cacería anual de huevos de Pascua, exhibición de autos de Proyecto Heber y la caminata Heberland . Tam-bién apoyamos programas deportivos de la ju-ventud, y apoyamos el primer Festival anual del tamal de Heber. Además, HPUD ayuda a nues-tra comunidad cada mes asistiendo con la dis-tribución de alimentos. Estamos orgullosos de servir a la gran comunidad de Heber.

On Tuesday, December 4th, the HPUD will light up their NEW 16’ Christmas Tree at Tito Huerta Park. We will light up the tree at 5:00pm followed by our

Winter Heberland Walk and a visit from Santa! El martes, 4 de diciembre, HPUD enciende su nuevo árbol de Navidad en el parque Tito Huerta. Se encenderá el árbol a las 5:00pm seguido por nuestro Heberland caminata y una

visita de Santa!

The Winter Heberland Walk will be held on Tuesday, December 4th at Tito Huerta Park. Meet up at Tito Huerta Park at 4:30pm. Christmas Tree Lighting at 5:00pm. Christmas Caroling will start at 5:15pm followed by a visit from Santa around 6:00pm. Food and drinks will be available for sale. The tree lighting, Christmas Caroling and a visit from Santa will be held at Tito Huerta Park located at the corner of Hawk and Palm Avenues in Heber.

El Paseo del Heberland de invierno se celebrará el martes 4 de diciembre en el parque Tito Huerta. Se reúnen en el parque Tito Huerta a las 4:30pm. Ilumi-nación árbol de Navidad a 5:00pm. Villancicos de Navidad comenzará a las 5:15pm seguido de una visita de Santa alrededor de las 6:00pm. Alimentos y bebidas estarán disponibles para la venta.

The Second Annual Heber Tamale Festival will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Tito Huerta Park in Heber. The Tamale Festival will be held from 10am to 5pm, and will have several vendors selling savory and sweet tamales as well as other delicious dishes. The Tamale Festival will also have a full lineup of great entertainment. Bring the whole fam-ily to celebrate the new year and enjoy some tamales!

Heber celebrará el segundo Festival anual del tamal el sábado, 05 de enero del 2019 en el parque Tito Huerta en Heber. El Festival del Tamal comenzará a las 10:00am a 5:00pm y tendrá varios tipos de tama-les salados y dulce así como otros deliciosos platillos. El Festival del tamal también contará con un com-pleto cartel de gran entretenimiento. ¡Trae a toda la familia para celebrar el año nuevo y disfrutar de los tamales!
