For a long time fine dining has been characterized by a ceremonial and classic style. At the same time, the most innovative chefs have moved into a new era with new expectations and ideals. For this purpose, we have created Figgjo Front Dining.

Figgjo Front Dining aims to meet the most demanding requirements of the world’s top chefs; not only in providing top quality necessities for food preparation but also bringing forth unique chinaware that gives a relaxing feel, even in the most elegant settings.

We have emphasized a design that dares to break the norm and allows the chef to be more creative without having to deviate from the requirements to quality, strength and functionality.

Figgjo Front Dining is created by Figgjo’s own designers Constance G. Kristiansen, Jens Olav Hetland and Olav Joa.

Figgjo Front Dining provides the culinary artist with a thought through design and an overall impressionable solution that may be combined in many ways. The series consists of 18 individual and well composed pieces that maintain our fundamental design idea. Within this new line, you will find a variety of products including: Flat plates, deep plates, cups, bowls and cloches - everything for a remarkable dining presentation.

Figgjo Front Dining contains plates both with and without a rim which gives the user a variety of possibilities. By using the various sizes and eating surfaces on the plates, the chef has the opportunity to present the food in unique and surprising ways.

The chinaware has a thinness that gives a perfect balance between elegance and function and positions Figgjo Front Dining at the top among professional chinaware. Figgjo Front Dining is like Figgjo’s other products also produced in vitreous chinaware – the strongest chinaware for the professional kitchen.

The most distinct plate in Figgjo Front Dining is the 35 cm cover plate. The wide rim has a slight downward slant towards the table while the rim on the other products angles upward. This brings out a noticeable space between the cover plate and the products it is combined with. The result is a refined and unique shade that emphasizes the elegant expression.

A consistent design characteristic on the plates is the precise edge that accentuates the thinness in the chinaware and emphasizes the series’ elegant expression. Figgjo Front Dining contains plates both with and without a rim which gives the user a variety of possibilities.

The cups in Figgjo Front Dining have a distinct expression and an elegant base. The handle carries on the unique design while at the same time providing the guest with a good grip.

Complete solutions and many combination possibilities have always been part of Figgjo’s design strategy. Figgjo Front Dining has also been shaped to allow for all the products in the series to be combined. This gives you as a chef freedom and opportunity to vary the presentation. Use various plates in different sizes, plates with and without a rim. Choose between small and large eating surfaces. Use the rim in various presentations. What about combining with a cloche in order to surprise the guest? Figgjo Front Dining also contains plates without a rim. This gives a larger eating surface. Vary with small side plates and create exciting food presentations that carry your signature. The many small plates are ideal for surprising small dishes and appetizers.

The cloche may for many be the product that symbolizes fine dining. The tight shape reflects the design from the cup and gives the complete table presentation a unique and visual expression.
