The purpose of the PTO is to enhance and support the educational experiences of SciTech students, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging family involvement, and to improve the environment at SciTech through volunteer and financial support. Ways That You Can Help: *Save Box Tops Purchase SciTech Gear (t-shirts, hoodies, etc.) Volunteer to help at fundraisers and events Purchase items that the PTO is selling throughout the year What We Do: Help pay for trips and events (ex. college tours for students, family events, teacher appreciation) Purchase equipment for teachers (ex. Kindles, headphones, microscope repairs) Fund student rewards (ex. Attendance recognition, pizza parties) These are just a few of the things that the SciTech PTO does to support the students and teachers throughout the school year, there is much more! We would love to see you at the meetings the second Thursday of every other month, beginning September 13 th at 7pm, but if that is not possible you can still be part of the PTO.
