The majority of the data, which originated from student and personnel records maintained by county-and school-level staffs, was retrieved through the statewide electronic database, the West Virginia EducationInformation System (W VEIS). Advanced Placement Test. Percentages of tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade public school students who tookat least one advanced placement test given by the College Board. American College Testing. Percentage of public school graduates who took the American College Testing(ACT) examination; the Composite Score is also given for schools with ten or more test takers. Attendance Rate. Percentage of K-12 students who were reported as being present at school.
