MARKETING Major film company's have the most control over film distribution. They can decide what films can get distributed.

The marketing strategies of films are very important and they need to be appropriate to the target audience of the film. Marketing needs to insure that when the film is released that they make enough money in the box office to gain profit (the film should gain about 30% more than it cost to make, in the first 3 days!)
