Idea – Music Video on beach and surrounding “beach shops” (ice cream etc.) Enjoying the summerPurpose - entertain & advertise the new album.Target audience – teens / early 20s.Resources – teens (mostly women), couple (“you & I”),

• lead singer, other teens/people in their late 20s to act as friends

• Enjoyable environment• location - beach where there

are ice cream shops and the typical beach equipment (inflatable balls, rings and volley ball courts).

• summer wear to make it apparent that it’s shot in summer. This will include: bathers, bikinis, trunks, shorts and other clothing which will make the person cooler.

Digipak• a beach ball or sunglasses as the

main cover art.• It will take up the majority of the

cover. • I will add the album and artist

name to either side of the sunglasses or the parts of the beach balls.

• back of the album, I will keep the theme of summer by adding little drawings of sunglasses and other objects which connote summer.

Idea – Trailer, conventional rom com story linePurpose – entertain, Target audience – women, single womenResources - a tripod, a camera, stereotypical things found in the chosen locations. In the girl’s bedroom, I will need a mirror, makeup, pillows, books, a laptop and the room is conventionally painted pink.

• cast - teen age • characters which fit conventionally into

their chosen roles. For example: nerd, jock, the hero, the prize, the princess and the villain.

• characters will wear clothes which are, again, conventional to their character.

• locations will include: a girls bedroom (for sleepovers), high school/college and a party (whether that be at a house or school).

• For the equipment I will need: a tripod, a camera and lights.

• For props I will need the stereotypical things found in the chosen locations.

• For example, in the girl’s bedroom, I will need a mirror, makeup, pillows, books, a laptop and the room is conventionally painted pink.

• cut to music for the instrumental at the start which will ensure the viewer recognises the small details in the shot.

• The whole thing will be shot in monochrome to imply the simplicity of the singer’s feelings.

• I will create a story which fits along with the music.

• simple but effective as it will portray the song’s lyrics.

• The singer will be wearing smart-casual clothing as this is popular within their genre of music.
