Film Trailer 1: Tower Block

•  The trailer introduces us to the main characters in different styles which suggest to us that they are important in the film.

•  The plot/genre is shown through the different types of action that occurs during the trailer. Also the audio also highlights the genre of the film.

•  From the trailer the information that it gives is that it starts off bad and gradually gets worse as the plot develops more.

•  In the trailer the lighting is quite dark and gloomy and it continues to get darker which adds to the tension that is building which suggest something bad is going to happen.

Film Trailer 2: Kidulthood

•  At the beginning of the trailer we are briefly shown the main characters of the film but then we get to see one character in more depth as the trailer progresses.

•  The plot/genre is presented to the audience by the actions of what the characters are doing. It is also presented by the type of language and the music included in the trailer.

•  The information that the trailer gives us is that a variety of teenagers take part in different types of illegal actions on a daily basis.

Film trailer 3: Fish Tank

•  At the beginning of the trailer we are introduced to the main character as quite cocky and rude. We also see a little insight into her life which looks depressing to live.

•  The plot/genre is presented to the audience by the actions of the character also the type of music and from the tag lines that have been added.

•  From the trailer the information that we are given is that her mum is not a proper mum to her as she doesn’t really care about her daughter which she finds quite upsetting. Also she then takes an interest in the mum’s boyfriend which develops more.
