The book is to be used throughout the duration of a two-year or

four-year vocation or higher education. It focuses on design

theory, history, conceptualization, industry standard software

techniques and work place application. It leads the student from

an introduction to the field of design to the creation of their own

portfolio, that can be used during future interviews.
