BY PRINCIPLE OF EQUILIBRIUM:

 

 ANOTHER METHOD THAT CAN BE USED FOR ESTABLISHING BALANCE IN EQUILIBRIUM IS BY TAKING MOMENTS ABOUT THE TOPPLING POINT WHICH IS THE REAR BOTTOM CORNER OF THE WHEELCHAIR. THE ANTI-CLOCKWISE AND CLOCKWISE MOMENTS ABOUT THE TOPPLING POINT WILL BALANCE.

 

BY D’ALEMBERTS PRINCIPLE:

 

 THE FOLLOWING DESIGN WILL REQUIRE A 3KW MOTOR @ 1000RPM WITH A TORQUE OUTPUT OF 28.64N.M AND A DRIVING FORCE OF 1.379KN IN ORDER TO OVERCOME ALL RESISTING OPPOSING FORCES.
