values them equally. Ethnocentricity focuses on one culture and

believes it is superior to others. We are now known for multiculturalism. We changed AFTER 1945, when WW2

ended and we realized we had been racist and contributed to the atrocities of the Holocaust in our own way.

very different geographically, giving each its own cultural identity. People have more in common with, and better understand, people from their own region.
