TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue Solution
There is a date and title header on each page. I can change
on the first and last page of the Newsletter but I can't
Go to the bottom right of your word document. There
should be a tab there called, "Master Pages." Click on that

change the interior pages. They are fixed to the default
data. Shouldn't the behavior be that you enter the title and
date on the first page and it gets copied on all pages?
When I click on the inner pages, it won't change at all.
They don't seem linked, just stuck.
tab, and simply edit the header from there. For some
reason you can't edit it directly on the "All Contents" tab.
I want to be able to have different footers in different
sections or no footer at all in some sections. I cannot
seem to be able to turn off the same as previous. The
button to turn it off doesn't seem to exist in this version
of word.
Here's how to find the Header and Footer
options:
1. Open up a word document - look for the
text bar that starts with a Home icon, and
then has Layout, Document Elements,
Tables, Charters, Smart Art and Review. In
my version, it's the 3rd Nav bar down from
the top.
2. Then, from your top Nav Bar, you want to

select View, then Header and Footer. That
will get you into your header section. It
should also cause a new entry in tthat other
Nav Bar to appear, called Header and
Footer. It should be highlighted in purple,
and will be inserted right next to the Home
icon
3. Click the purple Header and Footer Nav
Bar link. That should open up the header
and footer options, including linking to
previous sections, Odd/Even options, de-
linking, etc.
