On my first week in Adefuin Design Studio, we wereoriented about the things we need to do when it comes toorganizing and filing of books, fabrics and other swatches inthe stock room, the different softwares they use in drafting, 3-D modeling and rendering such as autocad, intericad and

google sketch up. On the same week , it was my first time tovisit a site under construction in Infinity Tower, located at theGlobal City. I have observed that during the construction of thecondominium, all workers were busy doing their own thing. Itsa good e xperience for me because Ive learned a lot when itcomes to built-in furniture like cabinets, shelves drawers andthe different materials used in the furniture.

On my second week, Ive learned the basic costestimation. At first, you need to get the perimeter,the area and the ceiling height of the space toeasily compute the amount of paint needed and

know how many coatings are needed and the sizeit covers or when tiled wall or flooring, you need tofind what size to use and how many pieces areneeded and always remember its complementary

products such as grout, tile adhesive and tilespacer, etc. and not only in tiles, also in paints andother products or materials youll use in thatspace.

Within that week, we were also taught byarch. Ron the basic lesson in google sketch upand autocad such as different commands and

how to use it, to easily navigate the drawing,external-reference for plan layout and dynamicblocks for different sizes of an object. On Thatweek also, I was assigned to do the manual

perspective of the One Roxas Triangle unit indining and living area with an ultra-modernconcept.

On my third week, I started doing theethanallen furniture pieces in autocad forthree days and Ive learned the differentstyles used in every furniture piece like thequeen-anne, hepplewhite, chippendale. Thenext two days, I did some working drawings

assigned by arch. Ron the floor plan, reflectedceiling plan, and plumbing plan and I did thisalso in autocad.

On my fourth week, I started practicing thegoogle sketch up in 3-D modeling of an interiorspace and later on, I started practicing v-ray

too in rendering and Ive learned the differentkinds of lighting tools for this software. Thefollowing day was ocular inspection in InfinityTower, and Ive learned the different types of

finishes , to name one type is the duco finish.On the next day, we went to the One RoxasTriangle Building at Makati and measured allthe areas for the renovation of the space.

On my last week, Ive finished theassigned task given by Sir Oliver and Idr. Jigswhich is making the storage box for

swatches. The next day was another ocularinspection in Infinity Tower and picture takingof the different areas. Ive also learned thematerial editor for different settings in sketch

up. On the same week , I attended a seminarfor fire prevention. The facilitators gave sometips and instruction for safety measures.
