• Over 16 million people visit Thailand every year• The weather in Thailand is typically very hot and humid• Thailand is about the same size as Spain, there are 3,219 km

of coastline • Thailand has 65 million recorded citizens, but in reality there

are many more• Thailand is a constitutional monarchy, which is ruled by King

HM Bhumibol Adulyadej• The respect towards the King is unique; the king in greatly

respected and loved by all citizens• The religion, Buddhism, is very important in the everyday life

of people

• 5km of beach, the outstanding golf courses, and the amazing seafood restaurants explain why it is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Thailand

• It is one of the most wealthy parts of Thailand• Its not only preferred by the tourists, also the Thai

people from big cities go there for quick weekend holidays

• It is also the location of the Kings summer palace

• There are several taxi companies, who offer trips to different places and activities; for example elephant riding, and trips to the monkey mountain to see the monkeys and a chapel

• Around the year Hua Hin hosts several different events and celebrations, for example New Years Eve celebrations are huge
