•  At busy time, such as lunch break, café become busy and the line become long.

•  Too many things at one time, easy to make mistake.

•  Customer want to have specialty coffees but may not have time to order.

without waiting, also the app will make it easier for coffee shop maker to make coffee.



•  How the app would work: –  Set preferences store and flavor

options, also put list of allergic on the personal preferences.

•  Who the app is for:－ Coffee shop worker and coffee shop

customer.

Research on Smartphone Apps



Starbucks App: Customer can order things on this app, this is very similar with the app I want to create. But, this app is for Starbucks only, people don’t have many options to try something else.





Coffee (In) Touch New York: This app is exclusive design for New York City’s users. This app tells you where is the nearest coffee shop around you, and give you the rate and pictures of coffee shop. But, this app can not make an order, and also is only for New York City. So is not really useful for people who are not live in New York .



Many smartphone app exist which give people various option to choose. But for most of them, the app only focus on one and the other. Some of them you can order through the app but it doesn’t give a lot option. Some of them you can only check the location of coffee shop, but can not make an order. Right now there is no app that can do both of them.



No other apps provide personalized options when customer order a coffee through apps. Also, there is not too much options for customer to choose.
