  • INTRODUCTION A letter of intent for grant of mining lease has been issued in favour Shri Sanjay Pathania S/O Shri Jagroop Singh R/o Village & P.O. Maharaj Nagar, Tehsil Jaisinghpur, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh for extraction of boulders, bajri (Pebbles) and sand over an area measuring 04-81-86 Hectares, situated in Mohal Jagroop Nagar, Mauza Alampur, over Khasra Number 410 of Tehsil Jaisinghpur, Distict Kangra. Himachal Pradesh, vide Govt. letter No. Bhu (Khani-4) Laghu-122/13-2609 dated 17-6.2014 for a term of fifteen years for use of mineral in the stone crusher.

  • Year-wise production details since 2006 after EIA notification, 2006 coming into force.No mining has been done as the proper grant order are to be issued after EIA clearance and mining shall be allowed only there after.

  • As the lease area is less than 5 hectares and no general condition applies being away from inter state boundary ,wild life century and Eco sensitive zone hence public hearing is not required and falls under B2 category.

  • Overall note on mineral reserve rated capacity, life of the mine.Overburden dumps stability study and reclamation.Plan of backfilling of mine pit2,50,000 tonnes of Mineable Reserve (material handling) has been calculated as per approved mine plan

    37,500 tones of silt mixed sand will be generated as waste which will be properly dumped in the own low lying land bearing Khasra No 653, 655, 656 in Mohal Jagrup Nagar, Mauja Alampur which is private land and at a distance of about 2 Kms Km for which affidavit has been sworn.

    No wastage shall be back filled

  • A detailed biological study for the study area [core zone and buffer zone (10 km radius of the periphery of the mine lease)] shall be carried out covering both terrestrial and aquatic flora and fauna. Details of flora and fauna, duly authenticated, separately for core and buffer zone should be furnished based on field survey clearly indicating the Schedule of the fauna present.There was no endangered, rare and threatened species observed during field visit. The detail of the Flora and Fauna as studied and detail list procured from the Forest Department is annexed as annexure -3. The digital land use and infrastructure map is below:

  • THE WATER REQUIREMENT FOR THE PROJECT.The water requirement for the project is 0.8KLD for dust suppression and 0.2 KLD of use by workers for domestic purpose at site.Daily Water Demand

  • Permanent or temporary change in Land use, Land cover or Topography The mining lease area is situated in a river bed. The lease area submerge in the water during monsoon .The land, in which the mining lease in intended to be granted, is at present an non-cultivable land. The lease area consists of few weeds. There is no forest land or agriculture land in the mine lease area. There is no eco-sensitive area within 15 km radius of mine lease area. There will be no change in the status of land.
