FEASIBILITY REPORT

Technical Feasibility

The Tracking system is feasible technically although there is some risk.

Familiarity with the Application

Nowadays numerous of GPS tracking system industry exist has no offer different

tracking system product thats why, costumers need knowledge about the tracking

system, and also the developers will provide procedure, training and demo for the

costumer whose not familiar in the system .

Familiarity with the Technology

The Developers has enough knowledge in technology required to assist

and secure the Tracking system. Operating system independent: the system is written

entirely in java, using technologies such as apache tomcat for web service deployment,

and mySQL for data store. The system will run on any system including Linux, Mac

OSX, windows XP, Windows Vista and more. The system is supported by the google

map and Microsoft virtual earth .The teams/developers are always ready to all users

feedback.

Project size

The project team consist of 6 people. Businesses and consumers

involvement will be required. The project time frame is somewhat critical, the tracking

The tracking system is very useful when it comes in security of the

consumers. It is compatible in different operating system. Tracking website can easily

be customized to fit the motif of the specific company.

Tracking System Direct brings state-of-the-art car camera and GPS tracker to

assist businesses and consumers, expected on bringing both real-time and passive

GPS tracking devices to police agencies, families and businesses, expected to be the

#1 online resource for those seeking to enhance automotive security and family safety,

expected that this type of locational and video technology can be extremely valuable if

person needs to have evidence corroborating a story in a motor vehicle accident,

business wants to reduce potential liabilities or if a parent simply wants to enhance teen

driving safety.

Additional Comments

We should find a consultant with expertise in fast changing technology.

Improvement of the system is very important, additional features are needed (live chat,

low battery alerts) or additional automotive securities (sensor alert). We will need to

hire a new staff to support multiple users of the system.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

The web based tracking system is a system designed using a combination of

several modern information and communications technologies. The system comprises

of vehicle-mounted tracking devices, a central server system and a web-based

application. Through the system, users will have the facility of monitoring the location

graphically and other relevant information of vehicle. This system is designed to serve

enterprises with an unlimited number of vehicles and complex usage requirements. The

web based system enables user to browse location track on map through developed

web application embed Google Map and interact with database server for vehicles track

details. Using the web based system enables users with different operating system

platforms to easily reach the demanded details by the existence of internet access.

The GPS-GPRS-based tracking system is a system that makes use of the Global

Positioning System GPS to determine the precise location of a vehicle to which the

device is attached. When a large number of objects or vehicles were spread all over the

ground, the owner of corporation needs to keep track for fuel saving, security

purposesetc. A tracking system is required to determine the location of any object at

any given time and the distance travelled. Also, the need for a tracking system in users

vehicle is used to prevent any kind of theft since police can use tracking reports to

locate a stolen vehicle location. GPRS and GPS based tracking system will provide

effective, real time vehicle location report. A GPS-GPRS based tracking system gives

all the specifications about the location of a vehicle. The system utilizes geographic

position and time information from the Global Positioning Satellites.

The system uses an On-Vehicle Module consists of GPS receiver and GSM

modem, the device resides in the vehicle to be tracked. In order to track the movement

of the vehicle Google Maps used for mapping the location. The GSM modem fetches

the GPS location and sends it to the server using GPRS.

We use the sashimi waterfall model because we can review the recent work that we

made and it can be proceed from the next step even though we are not yet already finish the

recently steps. It is also easy to understand and less time to spend. Moreover its best suit to use

from our system because we can review some of the events on what will be our outcome of our

work and we can predict what will be the best good and the risk that we encounter.

User Requirements:

1. The system will allowed the user to input a password and control access

number.

2. The tracking system with mySQL for data store, detail and summary reports

can be customized to show historical data for a specific vehicle.

Functional Requirements:

This subject SAD(System Analysis and Design) in the beginning of the class Im

just wondering that its so difficult to take up this subject and I also thinking that there

was a system that needs to develop but instead Sir. Dennis was decided not to do the

system because it needs a lot of time.

At first, I was so thankful from my group mates because without their

cooperation this hard work will not be successfully done. I am very thankful to Sir

Dennis being our instructor from this subject because when I saw you Sir you try your

best to pursue us being your student to become responsible in all obligation and task

we need to do especially in our group project.

As a leader of our group, it is my task to encourage and be a good example to

them and also to assign them what they need to do. I am so particular about some

reports of our group because this is my obligation. I am happy because I know we as a

group will finish this work. And I am so glad that within two months of my summer class

This is my first time to take up this subject although I have some ideas in this

subject, because I already take up the subject software engineering, and my

classmates who already take up this subject that theres a similarity between software

engineering and system analysis and design. It seems that this subject is quite

interesting and at the same time stressful.

When our instructor assigned us in our respective group Ive expected a lot of

possible outcome that our group might encounter. There comes a time that we face

some common problem, but in the end, we still fix it. I am so happy of the result that we

get after our report. Sometimes we got the highest score and sometimes not, but its

okay because we never got the lowest score.

Doing this project with them (my group mates) teach me how to value time and

keep intact with other members. Because I believe that, to achieve a better result or

which I say is to be the best group. All we need is a unity and because of that I enjoy

my summer class and Im looking forward in the future that all of my learnings in this

subject will help me to reach my dream.

can do to have such knowledge is by listening and have a full of understanding what the

instructor teach. And its better to apply those things in our life also.

I am grateful because when I know that Sir Dennis Salvador will be our instructor

at this subject, I know we gain knowledge and thanks from you sir to have the patience

in teaching although sometimes were so naughty. At first I felt nervous because I was

surprise when Sir Dennis called some randomize students for what you listen when he

spoke some topics and what will be this subject going through. During reporting its

getting nervous but in some point I realize that it helps me a lot to encourage myself to

spoke in the front of others. Thanks sir it helps me to learn a lot not to be shy in front

and have a boldness just to defend what is your learning about our group system.

In this subject, Sir Dennis gave us a group which everyone of us in our group has

its own assignment and a task to do, Our leader assigned me as encoder and

researcher at first it took so difficult but meanwhile its helps me also to discover a lot of

things and explore about what is the important included our system. Thanks God

because he always there to guide us and also gave us enough strength to overcome

My experience in this subject that Ive never forget are first I am so nervo us
