CLIMATE ANALYSIS

summer winter

For summer and winter, the coolest place should be where under the trees because of the shadow. And the temperature near tall buildings is also cold due to its long shadow as well. And for the center of the square, it is far away from the trees and buildings, so it should be the hottest place. In addition, the temperature is also caused by the direction of wind. For summer, the wind is from east to west, thus wind through the center of the square is resisted by Raymond Priestley Building and this is why it is so hot. And for winter, the wind is from west to east, so the wind through the center of the square is stopped by those big trees. Therefore, the shadows of buildings and direction of wind cause different temperature.

• Rose is 45 years old and one day when she was sleeping, she dreamed that she was debating with herself 30 years ago about the definition of happiness. Little Rose said: “The happiest thing for me is drawing and fight for my dream.” Rose said:“ When you grow up to me, you’ll find earning money is absolutely important than your dream.” Little Rose did not believe what Rose said and continued:” If you don’t have dream, how can you earn money?” Rose kept silent and said nothing.

COLLAGE&NARRATIVE

SUPERPOSITION COLLAGE• The collage is made

to show the topic of debating. And the way I used to reveal this topic is to create a contrast between regular shape on the right hand and irregular shape on the left hand.

EXPERIENCE COLLAGE-DEBATING

• The experience collage illustrates the activity of debating. Debaters are debating while stand on the platform and audiences are sitting on the stair with dancers dancing in the middle.
