Digital Reputation

(Aula, 2011)

Five Primary Challenges

1. How can various organizations create member-centric organizations while using and developing and/or maintaining best practices as they relate to digital communication?

Five Primary Challenges

2. How does an organization craft a cyber-strategy, including development and continuation of reputational information, from a digital presence in a user friendly yet sophisticated manner while having to keep up with the constant ever changing dynamic of technology?

Five Primary Challenges

3. The need to ensure “ownership of the organization’s cyber presence” along with increased levels of interactivity with members in order to increase interactions between the organization and the people the organization interacts with.

Five Primary Challenges

4. How does an organization continue to educate its leadership team, members, and the general public through assorted digital technologies as to what the organization is doing along with the services the organization provides for everyone?

Five Primary Challenges

5. How does an organization solve for the previously mentioned four challenges given the limited amount of resources available to an organization, including time, money, and personnel constraints?

Five recommendations or “best practices” that specifically address the five primary challenges

1. Use digital communication technology to communicate with members and potential members, legislators, and the general public by creating and using a transparency strategy fit for the individual needs of the organization

3. The use of digital online “radio stations” like BlogTalkRadio, Ubroadcast.com, and Shoutcast and through companies like Digitalcreativealliance.com can assist an organization in the development of strategic alliances with other cyber competent organizations while also increasing their message digital manifestations.

4. Is integration of game playing and simulation into the digital presence. This technology can be used to increase traffic to an organizations’ website and overall digital presence. This technology can also increase the time a person stays on an organization’s website while also allowing the organization to increase learning opportunities of participants in a way that is both fun and educational at the same time.

5. Plannedlegacy.com is a company who specializes in digital communication devices for non-profit organizations so that the organization can take its messages to people rather than having the person come to them.

Additional recommendations or “best practices”

Programs like Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, Spotify, and Voice Thread increase the digital voice of labor organizations. They also cause an increase in their reputations so that Network for Good and Yahoo Charity Badge will allow for a stamp of cyber credibility amongst the masses of digital garbage people see daily in cyberspace.

Conclusion• An organization, if it wants to continue

to be viable in this advanced technological age, must have a cyber-presence while also utilizing various forms of digital technology to convey innumerable messages that are tailored to both the individual and groups of people as a whole.
