Uniqueness
– In our system we have a unique feature like typing in Thanglish
– For this we are using the transliteration method, Transliteration preserves pronunciation across different languages
– Enable to copy and paste other Tamil documents

Research Problem– Tamil speaking blind people don’t have any idea
about computerized Braille systems or Braille printers
- Using the Braille Typewriter
– No Braille system to get the Braille printed materials
– Difficulties in learning in other languages
– Feeling hard to type in Tamil through the keyboard

Main Objectives To allow Tamil blind people to type in Thanglish using a
normal keyboard and get Tamil Braille documents.
To get Braille Tamil embossed printouts
Increase the usage of computer among blind people
To allow users to copy and paste Tamil words, sentences and paragraphs from other sources

Main modules

• Module 2: Tamil letters will be converted to braille letters
• Module 3: Printouts:– Braille letters in normal printout– Braille letters in braille printer
• Module 4: Copy and paste any Tamil language documents and will be convert it to Braille letters
