June 9 ~ Pentecost It is Pentecost Sunday! The message in today’s scriptures are clear: “As the Father has sent me, so I send you. . .” “they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues. . .” Now, we are called to proclaim the good news of salvation in words and deeds – which simply means sharing with others how God has worked in our lives. Pray to the Holy Spirit this week asking for the courage to bear witness to Christ’s love.
