EXPERIENCE LEVEL GENERAL PRESENTATION LEVEL NON-TECHNICAL SESSION TYPE NEW

This topic will last for two sessions – the second session is a continuation, not a repeat of the first session. So, participants in this session should plan on attending session #48 also. PO Routing is a new approval process for requisitions. Using this process allows districts to set up multiple approvers based on the content of the requisition. This allows the approval process to adhere to federal and state categorical requirements, governing board regulations, and district policy. PO Routing allows the district to create separate approval routes for different kinds of requisitions. The requisition’s actual path will be based on its content and other variables define by district policy. This two-session presentation will give an overview of how PO Routing works and will then walk participants through the implementation process and operating procedures.
