1 / 2 nota de premsa 21/07/2015 22/07/2014 FINANCIAL TIMES PLACES CRÈDIT ANDORRÀ AS THE TOP ANDORRAN BANK IN THE TOP 1000 RANKING The Group is acknowledged by the prestigious financial publication for its high capitalisation, with a Tier 1 Capital of 691 million dollars • It holds first place among the Andorran Banks and position 800 in the world ranking Andorra la Vella, 21 July 2015.- The Financial Times group has again placed Crèdit Andorrà at the forefront of Andorran Banks in its prestigious Top 1000 Ranking. This classification is calculated on the basis of financial entities’ capitalisation and is published annually in the July Edition of the magazine, The Banker. The entity again ranks as the top bank in the Andorran financial sector endorsed by a Tier 1 Capital of 691 million dollars and the Group’s solvency and liquidity ratios which, on 31 December 2014, were 20.26% and 73.82%, respectively. This year, the Andorran financial sector is represented in the ranking by two entities. Crèdit Andorrà holds first place in Andorra and position 800 on a global scale, while another bank holds position 982. In this way, the Financial Times reaffirms Crèdit Andorrà’s sustained leadership and benchmark status in the Principality of Andorra, while continuing to award it a prominent position among the major world banks. The Andorran publication makes an annual list of the 1,000 best banks on a world scale based on their financial strength, assessed mostly through each bank’s capitalisation. Crèdit Andorrà has adjusted own funds of 624 million euros, the highest among the Andorran Banks, a financial strength that provides security and confidence to clients and guarantees of sustained growth. The Crèdit Andorrà Group closed the 2014 financial year as a benchmark for the national sector, with a business volume of 16,547 million euros, 6.94% more than in the previous year, assets under management of 13,564 million euros, 9.22% more. The bank maintained loan investment, which reached 2,983 million euros. The Top 1000 general ranking is led by two Chinese Banks, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and the China Construction Bank, followed by the American entity JP Morgan, another Chinese bank, the Bank of China, and Bank of America. These entities hold the 5 top places in The Banker’s ranking, one of the most valued in the sector for its assessment of the financial strengths of the various companies. Agricultural Bank of China, Citigroup, Wells Fargo & Co, HSBC Holdings and Mitsubishi UFJ complete the ten top places in the ranking.
