SARThis model meets international guidelines andEU requirements for exposure to radio waves.Your wireless device is a radio transmitter andreceiver. It is designed not to exceed radiowave exposure limits recommended byinternational guidelines. These guidelineswere developed by the independent scientificorganisation ICNIRP and include safetymargins designed to assure the protection ofall persons, regardless of age and health.

These guidelines also form the basis ofinternational regulations and standards on RFExposure. The guidelines use a unit of measurementknown as the Specific Absorption Rate, orSAR. The SAR limit for wireless devices is2 W/kg. The highest SAR value for this devicetested at the ear was 0.450 W/kg.As SAR is measured utilizing the deviceshighest transmitting power the actual SAR ofthis unit while operating is typically below thatindicated above. This is due to automaticchanges to the power level of the device toensure it only uses the minimum level requiredto communicate with the network.ICNIRP (http://www.icnirp.org)
